    Our Leadership Team

    Eugene Mc Daid

    CEO - Founder

I founded KEMIO to consult and partner with like-minded people who want to improve human health. Since starting in the recruitment industry in early 2000 I have always enjoyed networking and dealing with people. My first venture into the life sciences was building teams of computer biologists to map out the human genome and since then I have been fortunate enough to be involved multiple projects across the globe supporting businesses in building and retaining talent to build a healthier world.

As CEO I am responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to align with the vision and objectives of KEMIO consulting. I build and maintain relationships with people within the industry to understand their challenges and create bespoke solutions to suit their needs. I’m also responsible for building, mentoring and developing the recruitment team at KEMIO, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Outside of KEMIO I’m passionate about rugby and creating and fun safe and sociable environment for boys and girls to play rugby. I lead and coach two age groups, one at Camp Hill RFC and the other with Solihull Vixens Rugby.

I have been heavily involved in growing Solihull Vixens Rugby a girl’s cluster club providing opportunities for girls aged 12-18 to play contact rugby. I also enjoy cooking and when not at work or at rugby can be found in the kitchen.

Please get in touch if you would like to join KEMIO and become part of this exciting company or if you are interested in working with us, please book in an appointment or contact me.

    Charlotte Beasley-Eades

    Talent Solutions Consultant UK

I have been fortunate enough to spend over 4 years supporting UK & EU based biotech’s, research institutes, and Pharmaceutical companies with their hiring on a diverse range of projects to enhance their missions across human health, drug discovery, and computational sciences.

I really love working in this sector for so many reasons; one is how different every conversation I have can be. New areas of research, new tools being developed and used, and novel discoveries happening. There is never a chance to get bored with so much exciting research going on! I’ve worked with candidates of all levels, from promising PhD graduates through to Senior Leadership hires, each role critical to the company’s success in different ways!

What I enjoy about working at KEMIO is that we are not just ‘filling jobs’. I’ve helped candidates relocate to different continents for their ideal job, got people the promotion they have been dreaming of, and helped them transition into an industry they are passionate about. It’s great to be a part of people’s journey. On the flip side, it is amazing being a part of small companies at the seed stage, growing from a handful of people to getting funding and becoming well-known names with hundreds of employees.

Outside of work, you will usually find me hanging out with animals, cooking up a storm in the kitchen or lying by the pool with a drink on holiday. I feel fortunate to have a job I like in a sector I find highly interesting. I want to thank all the clients and candidates who make it possible to do this and of course I am always happy to connect with new people so feel free to reach out!

    Kerry McDaid

    Business Operations Manager

Having worked in IT and Life Science recruitment for over 25 years now, it is wonderful to be bringing my knowledge and experience to KEMIO Consulting. During my career, I spent many years recruiting for clients within IT and Life Sciences, as well as managing high performing teams, getting involved in learning, development, and performance coaching. Over the last 10 years, my role has become more operational, being responsible for ensuring the business runs smoothly and effectively by managing all aspects of HR, Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Compliance.

It’s incredibly exciting to now be working for KEMIO Consulting, joining a small but incredibly talented team of leaders and consultants. We are not constrained by corporate red tape, processes, and procedures but are creating and innovating our own way of working as we grow and develop, enabling us to be flexible and provide targeted and tailored services to both our clients and candidates. It really feels wonderful to have the opportunity to shape and influence the direction and success of the business.

Outside of work, you will find me on the side of a rugby pitch or at a dance competition, supporting and celebrating my children in their chosen sports. If not doing that, I will be spending time outdoors on long country walks with my family and our little Boston Terrier (Ozzie), finishing off with a glass of wine in a country pub or beer garden. Alternatively, I’ll be getting “crafty” with friends at painting, wreath-making, and decorating classes, or occasionally you’ll find me at the gym in the swimming pool or yoga studio.

I feel very excited about the future of KEMIO and working with our talented team of dedicated recruiters and can’t wait to see where this journey takes us. Join us on our journey as a colleague, candidate, client, follower, or friend. All are welcome!! Please reach out to connect with us.
